Knowing how to help your child revise can often be a frustrating task during the exam period. This evening is designed to help support parents understand the science behind revision strategies and gain practical advice on preparing for both GCSE and A Level examinations.
Mr Richard Ebbage, Deputy Headteacher at Crosfields School, will explore the research into effective revision and how students can make the most out of the energy they put in. This will be followed by Mr Ben Stephenson, Director of Sixth Form at Queen Anne's School, discussing techniques to help manage the stress and anxiety that come with examinations.
This talk is for both students and parents preparing for upcoming examinations and aims to give practical advice to cope with both the physical and psychological pressure that can occur during this time.
