    Our team of five Graduate Assistants work within the boarding houses, getting to know the girls and building a relationship of trust with them. Graduate Assistants are on duty and present in the school boarding houses, providing pastoral care alongside the House Parent, Deputy House Parent and Matron. 

    This is a fantastic opportunity that demands high levels of self-motivation, enthusiasm, commitment and the ability to actively encourage pupils to partake in a wide range of activities. You will be expected play a full part in the busy life of our boarding school. Terms are short and intense and holidays long so that batteries can be recharged.

    On-site accommodation is provided, as are free meals in term time. 

    The School is located in beautiful grounds in the centre of thriving Caversham, and there are excellent transport links including from Reading station, which is within walking distance.  

    Main duties include to:

    • Assist in the smooth running of the House, liaising closely with the House Parent/s and their team
    • Plan and deliver a range of engaging evening activities for the boarders
    • Provide academic support with student prep and revision
    • Assist Matrons with domestic duties
    • Assist the girls with house routines and rotas
    • Be a role model and listening ear
    • Be resident on the school site in provided accommodation

    Teacher of PE

    Teacher of Physical Education (Netball Specialist)

    The role

    We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented teacher of Physical Education with a specialism in netball to join our outstanding PE department.

    This role is ideal for an ECT or someone eager to develop their PE teaching career in a supportive and inspiring environment. 

    The successful candidate will:

    • Have a specialism and passion for netball, with experience of coaching or playing at a competitive level
    • An ability to deliver high quality sessions in at least one of our other main performance sports, (Lacrosse, Swimming, Athletics, Cricket, Tennis) and support will be given to develop knowledge in these areas if required
    • Contribute to the wider co-curricular sporting programme including fixtures and major sporting events

    Maths Tutor

    Maths Tutor, Part time

    Immediate start, subject to Safeguarding checks

    We are seeking a Maths Tutor to assist with the teaching of two pupils and this will increase significantly in September. This number may also grow during the summer term. 

    Tutor sessions are currently 40 minutes and Tutors are able to charge a competitive rate, which is paid directly by parents.

    The role is term time only, with the potential for holiday teaching if mutually agreed between parents and the Tutor.

    Students currently in need are aged between 11 and 14, changing to 11-16 from September and could involve A-level if the tutor is able to.
