Hong Kong Music Concert featuring QAS alumna Hilarie Chong and Director of Music Mr John Padley

John Padley – Senior Music Director and currently Director of Music at Queen Anne School Caversham in Reading, UK. John was previously Director of the Sherborne School Chapel choir and Director of Music at Sherborne Abbey. Following this he was appointed Director of the Cathedral Singers at Christ Church, Oxford Oxford University Cathedral. He has travelled widely with the Singers and has conducted in many major cathedrals in the UK and Europe.
Zhuang Haicheng – Started studying piano and violin at the age of 6 and has won numerous awards in violin competitions in Hong Kong and the UK. She graduated from Queen Anne School in the UK in 2023 and is one of Queen Anne's music scholars. Haicheng has just been awarded a full-term 4-year college scholarship from the famous Berklee College of Music in the United States, and will start her university journey in Boston after the summer vacation.
Wong Tin Ching – Is currently the Organist of St. Peter's London Docks Church in London, he served as the Organist of St Mary’s Church when he returns to Hong Kong during the university holidays. In 2023, Tianzheng will continue to learn the organ with John Padley.
Musical movements: Vivaldi's The Four Seasons Concerti (Spring and Summer), Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, among others.
