During the final afternoon of the 2021 Michaelmas Term the school held its annual Festival of Lessons and Carols.

The service would usually be held in Dorchester Abbey, but Covid restrictions meant we were unable to do so.

In the service, led by Reverend Ross-Smith, the school community were united in prayers and song. Students read the nine lessons from verses of the Bible, and seasonal greeting were spoken in a number of languages by our international students. Pre-recorded songs by the Consort Choir were enjoyed, they included ‘Christus Vincit’ and ‘O Come, O Come Emmanuel’.

Parents were able to be a part of the service via live stream as we celebrate the end of the term and the Christmas period.

The service ended with two blessings from Rev. Ross-Smith. One for Julia Harrington for her journey ahead and one for the school community and their families.
