Queen Anne's School Virtual Festival of Lessons and Carols

Chapel Whole School

On Friday 11 December, the Queen Anne’s School community came together to celebrate the end of term at the School’s annual Festival of Lessons and Carols.

Unfortunately we could not hold our service at Dorchester Abbey this year. However, in true Queen Anne’s spirit, the School pulled together to live-stream the event virtually from our School Chapel to the wider community.

The service featured some fantastic performances from our students. We heard from our music soloists, Consort Choir, QASVoices and Concert Band. Our drama students performed an entertaining interpretation of ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’, and our drama students from all years showcased a wonderful virtual performance of ‘You Will Be Found’.

We also heard readings and prayers from Queen Anne’s students and staff, including Headmistress Julia Harrington.

A huge thank you goes out to Reverend Rachel Ross Smith for leading the service, and to our amazing IT team who made the live-stream possible.

We hope you enjoyed our virtual Festival of Lessons and Carols!
