Dorchester Abbey Service 2024

Whole School Carol Service

On Friday 6 December, we came together at the stunning Dorchester Abbey for our much-loved Christmas Carol Service—a true highlight of the festive season and a cherished Queen Anne’s tradition.

Our talented choirs filled the Abbey with beautiful hymns, and staff and students shared lovely readings, creating a magical atmosphere that truly embodied the spirit of Christmas. The Sixth Form Choir delivered a heartfelt performance of Christmas Lullaby during the second service, while the Lower 4 choir called, QAS Voices, gave a moving rendition of Mary, Did You Know? in the first.

The Lower School students looked wonderful in their iconic red cloaks, and for a nostalgic touch, the senior prefects proudly wore the cloaks too!

As is tradition, each student left the service with a delicious gingerbread treat to enjoy on their journey home.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Reverend Rachel, Miss Goodall, Mr. Roberts, Miss Wimble, and all the staff who worked tirelessly to make this special event possible. Their dedication ensures that the Queen Anne’s Christmas Carol Service continues to be a cherished moment in our school calendar.
