World Teachers Day at Queen Anne's School

Whole School Kind Hearts

Monday 5 October was World Teacher’s Day.

During the previous week, our students took part in a school-wide project to say thank you to all of their amazing teachers.

Each of our school houses received a red post box, with slips for students to write kind anonymous messages to a teacher of their choice. At the end of the week, the full post boxes were collected, and on World Teachers Day the message were delivered to the teachers!

We are incredibly proud of our teachers at Queen Anne’s School, who have shown positivity and resilience, particularly through lockdown when the school moved to digital teaching and learning. Our teachers were so brilliant that they managed to deliver over 10,000 academic and pastoral sessions to our girls remotely! Now back in school, we continue to be inspired by our teachers’ hard work and passion for education.

Have a look at some of the lovely anonymous messages that some of our teachers received for World Teachers Day below!
