Middle School Production of 'Top Table'

Across three nights the cast of our Middle School Production, Top Table, performed in our Performing Arts Centre to friends and family.

Top Table tells the story of the delegates and journalists from different countries who arrive at a world peace conference in an atmosphere of extreme and extremely suspect-bonhomie. It is not long before quarrels break out and war is on the point of being declared. Then two cleaners, backed by the troops and ordinary people of all sides, take over. They announce a slight amendment to international law....

The students performed excellently and Director, Mr Godfrey said "beyond the satire of this 1973 play, its message remains overtly pacifist".
