DofE Achievement

Our incredible Duke of Edinburgh Coordinator Mr Gary Blunt spent Monday 15 May in the gardens of Buckingham Palace with his family and Head, Elaine Purves, as several QAS students and alumnae received their Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award.

Mr Blunt was celebrating 30 years of involvement with the DofE Award scheme on this special occasion. His extraordinary dedication and passion shines through to our students as 70 Queen Anne's girls have achieved their Gold award since 2017.

Camille & Evie Blunt, QAS alumnae and daughters of Mr and Mrs Blunt, were invited to the Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award Garden Party. Along with older sister Sophie, who was invited as a special guest, all three sisters hold Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards, which is a huge accomplishment and of great interest to the Duke of Edinburgh. They were hugely honoured to be selected to have a private audience with the Duke, along with their father to talk about their achievements and how their participation and involvement has enriched their lives.

It was an extremely proud moment for the entire Blunt family, with mum and grandparents also invited along to enjoy the occasion.
