Sienna (L5) and Francesca (4) have made remarkable achievements in the recent County Championships held in May. Their exceptional performances not only brought home medals but also highlighted their dedication and skill in their respective disciplines.
Sienna took part in the U17 Girls Hammer event. Despite only beginning her training in the hammer throw in August last year, Sienna's rapid progression and determination have been evident. Her commitment to mastering the technicalities and strength required for the hammer throw culminated in her winning the gold medal in her category and is now the Oxfordshire County U17 Girls Hammer champion!
Francesca, has also been consistently demonstrating her prowess in the field events. She secured the gold medal in the U15 Girls Javelin and the silver medal in the U15 Girls Hammer at the County Championships. Francesca's performance in the javelin was particularly noteworthy, as she became the Berkshire County U15 Girls Javelin Champion for the third consecutive year!
Both Sienna and Francesca's achievements at the County Championships reflect their dedication and skill. As they continue to develop their talents, there is no doubt that they will achieve even greater heights in their athletic careers.
