Sir Clive Woodward Visits QAS

Sports Lecture Talk

On Monday 27 January, we were delighted to welcome Sir Clive Woodward to Queen Anne’s, where he spent the afternoon speaking with staff and delivered a lecture to the Sixth Form and Scholars, titled – ‘DNA of a Champion’. It was fascinating to listen to the principals that he has based his success on across his many roles in coaching and leading professional sports teams within Rugby, Football and the Olympic programme, and how the Queen Anne’s students could use some of these themes to drive themselves to be champions in their own areas of specialism or in life.

Sir Clive’s daughter, Jess (QAS Alumni 1998-2005) also came back to the school and enjoyed a tour with Lara and Molly (U6). She was also delighted to find out that her swimming record from over 20 years ago, still stands today!

A huge thank you to Clive and Jess, and we hope to welcome Jess back very soon for the next Reunion day!
