Lower 6 students from the Equality, Diversion and Inclusion (EDI) society visited Katesgrove Primary School on Friday 24 May to teach Year 1 some traditional dances from different countries for the primary school's upcoming 'Around the World Day' celebration.

Three groups of enthusiastic QAS students were ready to share their knowledge and skills. Jolie and Angelina introduced the children to an upbeat Korean dance.

Temi, Valerie, and Faderin brought the vibrant rhythms of Nigeria to life.

Finally, Janice and Bridget taught the children a dance from China along with some Chinese words to sing along. The Year 1 students then brought their new skills together for a dance showcase in front on their teachers.

It was a wonderful morning and fantastic celebration of culture!
