On the evening of Friday 22 March, the PAC was buzzing with excited students ready to cheer on their houses in the Inter-House Drama Competition!
Each House had put forward a drama team of up to 10 girls (L4 – U5) and they spent the afternoon off timetable to prepare their contribution to the competition.
This year’s theme was “Harriet Potter” and no one apart from Mr Punter (and his faithful hound Tilly, of course!) knew this until lunchtime on the day of the competition.
The evening was an exciting (and often hilarious!) display of each house’s drama skills and teamwork.
Each house put on a superb short drama performance, but in the end there could only be one winner – Ffyler! This was their second Inter-House Drama Competition win in the past four years.
BBC Radio 2 presenter Jules Lang, who has 20 years experience in radio, and eight in television, was our adjudicator for the competition. She was “blown away by the amazing talent and standard of the performances!”
Congratulations to Ffyler for their well-deserved win, and well done to all our drama teams for some imaginative performances!
