In English, our students are always keen to keep up with the zeitgeist and research further around their topic of learning.

Recently, in revision of Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird, discussions were held about the relevance of the 1960s novel with two films of the same period; Hidden Figures and The Help and, of course, contemporary events in the Black Lives Matter campaign.

Our students decided to consider the novel and the films and to write a brief review You can read Emily O’s review here.
