A positive start to A Level Biology for L6

Sixth Form Biology

The Lower Sixth have made an excellent start to the A Level course, taking the increased complexity in their stride with enthusiasm. The course is split into two different sides, one starting with cells and microscopy and the other with biological molecules and biochemistry. This particular practical (photographed above) was analysing mystery solutions and carrying out various qualitative tests to identify what molecules were in them. The way that all students have settled into the course is impressive - it should be an exciting two years ahead!
