GeogSoc Annual Dinner

Geography Sixth Form

On Thursday 10th March, the Geography Society welcomed students from Eton College to Queen Anne’s for an A level Geography dinner.

The event was a tremendous success with two speakers attending, Antja Weisheimer, a pioneering climate forecaster, meteorologist, and researcher at the European Centre for Medium Range weather Forecasts (ECMRF) and Bruce Bratley, CEO and Founder of First Mile, who spoke to the students about the realities of sustainable business and the recycling industry.

The theme of the dinner was sustainability, and the wonderful catering team made a delicious vegan curry with onion bhajis as well as a vegan sticky toffee pudding with custard; everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal. A special thanks to Mrs Tate and the Geography Society for planning this dinner!
