Amelia (L6) wins British Schools Orienteering Score Championships

Amelia (L6) has been orienteering since she was 7 years old and last weekend attended the British Schools Orienteering Score Championships near Nottingham.

Using a map, she had to find and visit as many controls as possible in 45 minutes. There were 30 in total, and she managed 27 to win the combined Year 12 and Year 13 girls' category.

Amelia has competed for her school and county and is now in the GB Talent Squad hoping to be selected to represent England or Great Britain in the next couple of years.
