Kind Hearts

Hi, my name is Hadassah, I left Queen Anne's in 2024 where I was Head Girl alongside Lara. I joined the school in 2021 in Lower 5 and I have already achieved so much. I chose Queen Anne’s because it showed to be a close-knit school with a lot of amazing opportunities to offer. It is a well-rounded school as it provides equal support in academics, extra-curricular and pastoral care.

I am currently studying A Levels in Media Studies, Business Studies and Mathematics. My favourite subject is Media Studies because I get to apply my love for media and photography. I love the freedom to study topics I genuinely have interest in and apply them to my work. Media Studies also allows to me to explore my practical skills by photographing, editing and exploring different medias.

What I enjoy most about being in an all-girls school is being able to bond with my friends and relate to each other’s experiences. We all have great one-on-one relationships with each other, and it is a tight knit community.

The achievements I am most proud of since joining Queen Anne’s are becoming head girl and leading the Afro Caribbean-Society. These are two roles I am so proud to have been entrusted with and I always strive to be a leader people can talk to and rely on.

A memory that sticks closest to me is the Cultural Showcase in 2022, where I got to see a variety of cultures and talents on display. I took part in an Afro-beats dance at the showcase which was a great experience.

I was an avid member of the boarding community as I love to involve myself in any games, discussions or cooking that takes place. I was also a member of boarding charity committee where we did things such a litter picking. I was a part of the Equality Diversity and Inclusion Society and the Afro-Caribbean Society Leader as these are things I am passionate about.
