Swimming

Five of our U5's represented the school as the U18 swim team at the Wycombe Abbey Invitational Swimming League Finals. All five girls swam extremely well in a gala that really was of the highest standard. Queen Anne's placed fourth overall.

A huge well done to Georgina L (U5), Ruby M (U5), Olive R (U5), Harriet S (U5) and Annaliese M (U5).

Lacrosse Nationals

The stormy weather played havoc with the timetable for lacrosse nationals. With the 2nd,3rd  U15B and U13A team tournaments postponed, only the 1st team went ahead this weekend. This involved a four hour wait in a car park at the venue on the first day, only to be told that they had decided to push the start back to the following day as the pitches were inaccessible due to the heavy rain.

On the second day Queen Anne’s was seeded in the top 16 and faced tough opposition in the Championship Division. They played with determination and focus, with some great moments, especially keeping the score so close with Guildford High, but ultimately they were knocked out.

Last 16 Championship Division

Pool Stage:

V Guildford High - Lost 2-3

V Benenden - Lost 0-3

V Westonbirt - Won 2-1

Knockouts:

V Bedford High - Lost 3-4
