After such a challenging 2020 and a tough start to 2021, our fantastic art teacher Ms Ahluwalia has put together a task to help try and beat those lockdown blues, refocus and reset.

Previously an art therapist, Ms Ahluwalia wanted to help our QAS community focus approach the new year with positivity, looking ahead to our individual goals for 2021.

“Journaling can help encourage gratitude for yourself or others, allowing you to reflect and appreciate!  In the current climate, we can only focus on ourselves and not factors outside of our control.  The idea of this challenge was to help our QAS community to make true time for yourself, away from a screen or a phone.  Setting regular goals can help provide positivity and the great thing about keeping a journal is....anyone can do it!  There are no limits as to what you can include and I think that everyone should give it a go."

"This is something that can be done on a regular basis or even just once a week." says Ms Ahluwalia.  "Find out what works for you, as some people may prefer to do this every so often and some may prefer to embed this into a certain routine they have."  Take a look at the video and give it a go!
