Alumnae Kind Hearts

Queen Anne’s alumna Jae-Ram Song, is now in her second year of Foundation Training having completed her course at University of Southampton School of Medicine after leaving Queen Anne’s School in 2013. Jae-Ram joined Queen Anne’s in 2009 and credits her time with us for giving her an enquiring, “no limits” mind set and the Music Department for instilling team skills.

As a Junior Doctor, Jae-Ram has been working on the Respiratory Ward during the day and often the General Surgery wards at night throughout the Covid pandemic. She is covering various assignments at Southampton Hospital, sometimes having to liaise with patients’ families, giving updates as to the patient’s condition and prognosis, or deciding if a patient needs to be kept in ICU for acute oxygen monitoring. She works in a very active environment but remains positive and clear headed about her work.

We look forward to welcoming Jae-Ram back to Queen Anne’s School in July 2021 as our guest speaker for Speech Day.
