The current 4s (year 8) had missed out on their team building days in Lower 4 due to Covid. Today was a chance to provide the girls with a day to work together and have some fun as a year group, outside of lessons.
Katie and Chloe from Divergent Drama ran 'The Greatest Showman' workshops for the girls throughout the day. Working as a year group and in smaller groups the girls sang songs, learnt dances which also included choreographing their own sections in a group, learnt circus skills and also recreated scenes from The Greatest Showman.
At the end of the day, each smaller group performed to their peers to show what they had created, they cheered each other on throughout the performances showing support for one another. The day provided the girls with the opportunity to spend quality time together as a year group, with much of they day spent laughing! For some of the girls, the activities and performances pushed them out of their comfort zone but everyone did an excellent job and performed with pride.
