GCSE & A Level Attend the Opera

On Wednesday, Lower 5 and A Level Musicians headed to the London Coliseum to watch an English National Opera performance of La Bohème by Puccini.

For many of the girls, this was their first experience of opera and what better way to experience it than in one of London's most iconic theatres. It was fantastic to see just how much the girls enjoyed this experience, and of course, no Music outing can be complete without a Pizza Express dinner beforehand! 

Director of Music, Mr Padley said "for the girls, listening to this music away from the classroom and in the context in which it was composed for is an invaluable experience. The girls enjoyed many aspects of the production, not only musically but through the drama, costumes, and set design."
