Music Tour to Belgium

Belgium Music Tour 26 – 29 January 2023

Early on Thursday 26 January 23 girls and 5 staff set off to Belgium for the start of a wonderful Music Tour. The group consisted of soloists, string orchestra and woodwind ensemble and they performed in St Nicholas’s Church, Ghent and Brussels Cathedral to very large and appreciative audiences. The standard of performance was extremely high and these were certainly not your average school concerts. It was not only about performing though. The girls visited an artisan chocolate factory and went on a fascinating but freezing cold boat trip in Ghent as well eating vast quantities of chocolate and waffles. Who wouldn’t?

Anna (U4) said: ‘It was really fun and I especially enjoyed the concert in Brussels Cathedral, the boat trip and visit to the Chocolate Factory. I can’t wait for the next tour!’
