QASPA Cheese and Wine Tasting Event

QAS parents and staff gathered excitedly for the QASPA Cheese & Wine tasting evening on Thursday 6 October 2022.

The Forum was transformed with festoon lights, flickering candlelight and autumnal décor into our very own QAS wine cavern! Led by Gavin from the Purple Foot Wine Company we were guided through the tasting notes for the 8 delicious wines that he encouraged us all to try. There were wines to suit all tastes from spicy plumy reds to crisp dry whites. As a perfect accompaniment, The Nettlebed Creamery supplied a scrumptious selection of cheeses for the event, whilst Waitrose in Caversham donated a large supply of crackers and chutneys for everyone to enjoy. Finally, a huge thanks to Thomas Franks team for looking after us all so well during the event.

We hope to hold another tasting event in the not-too-distant future based on the success of the evening.
