Dance Event

Our annual dance show, ‘Celebrate Dance’ is named to reflect the joy and passion shown in our students’ work and the progression they have achieved during this academic year so far.

The fantastic showcase took place over two days last weekend (Friday 26 and Saturday 27 April) and displayed a collection of work that the students have developed during their dance classes, whether this has been in ISTD graded lessons, GCSE and A level dance lessons or the various dance clubs that are run throughout the week.

Lower Four to Upper Sixth participated in the event and have all been working extremely hard throughout this school year to produce the level of work showcased on the PAC stage.

“The technical training, the developing of their dance vocabulary and the hours of rehearsing they have all put into this show is a reflection of their dedication and the dance teachers’ passion and drive to keep developing the dance department here at Queen Anne’s.” – Vicky Powell, Head of Dance

With 51 performances the level of dedication and talent did not falter as one after the next displayed excellent skill and movement.
