On Sunday 26 May, our talented students from the Twilight Dance Company competed at the Cascade Dance event held at The Stag Theatre in Sevenoaks. This year, our dancers showcased a remarkable array of solos, duets, and group performances, demonstrating their hard work and dedication.
The competition was fierce, featuring a diverse range of dancers from various schools. Despite the high standards, our students excelled. We proudly secured several top positions in both the senior and intermediate solo categories, along with an amazing 2nd place in one of the group dances.
A special highlight was Celine's (U5) stunning performance of the Esmeralda Variation from La Esmeralda, for which she received a special award for her classical work. Her dedication and skill truly stood out.
The team are already looking forward to returning to the Cascade Dance Championships next year. In the meantime, the Twilight Dance Company has a busy schedule ahead with many exciting events on the horizon!
