On Saturday evening, the Dance Department held their annual progress dance showcase which displayed work from our Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) classes and clubs.
Our dancers spoke enthusiastically about the evening; "It's amazing how we all come together and perform with different year groups" and "I really enjoyed being part of the showcase and having the opportunity to show my parents what I am working on for my upcoming ISTD dance exam."
Mrs Powell echoed this sentiment; "We are grateful to be able to demonstrate our class work and display the foundations of what our ISTD classes and dance clubs are based around in the first term of the academic year. Our focus is technical and physical skills and from here this is where we develop and build on our performance skills ready for the annual dance show in March! See you in the PAC in March 2025!"
