The GCSE and A Level dance students headed to London to watch Matthew Bourne's 'Nutcracker'.
For the students, it is important for them to see live dance to encapsulate the atmosphere of a professional performance and to see the production as a whole, live on stage.
The artistry of the cast and the set design captured the girls' attention! Anyone who know Matthew Bourne's work knows that he recreates traditional ballet into something that is modern, theatrical and inspiring.
The girls really enjoyed their visit to the theatre and left feeling truly inspired by what they had seen.
