After three years, the Celebrate Dance Show returned to the Performing Arts Centre with a packed audience. Across two nights the school's dancers performed pieces they have been working throughout the year as well as pieces for their GCSE and A Level examinations.

After months of creative choreography, mixed with hours of rehearsals, the show came to life!

For many of the younger dancers, this was their first time performing and there was some nervous energy before the shows. However, it was quickly overcome with the excitement of getting into costumes and doing hair and makeup!

"It was amazing to be able to demonstrate everyone’s hard work in such a creative way and the atmosphere from the audience was incredible! Cheering and applause filled the PAC after each performance as the dancers were supported by their friends, family, and teachers!

I’m so sad that this was my last dance show, and I have loved being a part of it every year. I’m so grateful for the dance teachers, as I have learned so much from them, also for the friends I have been able to dance alongside in dance company! Every single dancer should be so proud of what they accomplished last weekend and I look forward to returning sometime in the future to watch the dance show and see how the dance community continues to grow!" Said Upper 6 Dance Captain (2021/22), Sophie

Wow! What a show and what a way to return after 3 years of not being able to perform to live audiences because of the pandemic. All the girls worked so hard and did brilliantly on stage, we can't wait for the next one!
