Mrs Harrington was thrilled to announce the new Senior Prefect team for 2021-22 on Monday. The nine girls worked incredibly hard throughout the selection process which included the traditional 'Hustings' presentation to the whole school, a video task, QAS fest planning and problem-solving tasks. Mr Ben Stephenson, Director of Sixth Form said; "The selection process is designed to replicate some of the experiences that the girls may encounter when applying for competitive universities and future jobs. The students were incredibly impressive and demonstrated their skills in public speaking and team work throughout. All of our Lower 6 have started an Emotional Intelligence in Leadership Programme, the knowledge they will gain will make them well equipped to deal with the path ahead as student leaders."
The team will be led by newly appointed Head Girls Sophie and Serena, with support from Deputy Head Girls Sahiba and Rowena. In assembly Serena and Sophie spoke of how the team hope to help the school move forward after the Covid pandemic and reignite the school spirit and community that they are proud of. "As a group we are passionate about striving to build a stronger community as well as create opportunities that you can look forward to being a part of. We would also like to stress that we are an approachable group and we really value your suggestions, so please feel free to reach out to us."
