Dave Rawlinson, President of LTA (also sits on board of the AELTC and Tennis Europe), along with his wife Brenda and Leslie Cundy, an LTA board member and the chair of Berkshire LTA were visiting schools in Berkshire today. Dave wished to visit schools that promote tennis and as runners up in the LTA education awards, QAS was high on their list!
They were able to see our best tennis players who have been successful in the Aegon tennis competition as well as our younger talent coming through. They also met the tennis coaches, watched some of the girls have their lessons as well as some girls who had just popped up in their lunch time to play a friendly game.
They were impressed by the number of courts the school has and were delighted to see that tennis continues all year round at Queen Anne's. He congratulated us for our success in the LTA Awards and thanked the school for our continued involvement in the schools' tennis competition.
