QAS ASA

The Asian Students Association (ASA) is a celebratory support group that outlines different Asian cultures and helps Asian students coming to QAS from overseas settle in to the school community. 

The group is a sub-group of the EDI Society and was set up in September 2021 by members of the Upper 6. They are still expanding and are looking to encourage students in the lower school to come along to their meetings and events. Their aim is to provide support and share Asian cultures through events and they have weekly meetings each Friday at 14:55 in Wilkins 'sit'. 

Recently, the group went to a local Brownie Pack to run a session on Chinese New Year. The students shared details on the history of the celebration and led a craft session.
