As the Tennis and Athletics season begins, QAS girls are enjoying some fantastic results!

The sunshine on Saturday was most welcome with all athletics and tennis teams competing at home, except the U18A tennis team, who were away.

Tennis

U18A v The Oratory: 7-2

U15A v The Oratory: 7-1

U14A v The Oratory: 7-1

U13A v The Oratory: 12-4

U12A v The Oratory: 9-3

There were wins across the board for all our tennis teams in their matches against The Oratory. Well done to Sasha and Lucinda (L5) in the U15A team and Chloe and Olivia (4s) in the U13A team, who only dropped 1 and 2 games respectively across all their sets. For some, this was their first competitive tennis fixture for Queen Anne's and the sunny weather and wins made for a great start to their season.

Athletics

The U12s placed 1st  in 7 events out of 10 , U13 placed 1st in 5 events out of 10,  U14s placed 1st  in 5 events out of 6  and U15s placed 1st in 4 out of 6.

All the practice at club is paying off and several girls achieved new personal bests in events. Overall Queen Anne's showed strength and depth in our teams and it is lovely to see so many competing.
