We are incredibly proud to announce that Queen Anne's School has been announced as the National Runner Up for the LTA's (Lawn Tennis Associations) Tennis School of the Year.

The LTA Tennis Awards celebrate the achievements made by outstanding volunteers, coaches, officials, schools, venues and players. They are a great opportunity to say thank you to those within the thousands of schools, clubs, parks and community venues providing tennis across Britain.

After winning the LTA Regional Tennis Education Award earlier this year, our sights were set on the National Awards, which were presented via a virtual ceremony on Thursday 30 July.

You can watch the virtual awards ceremony, hosted by Dave Rawlinson, President of the LTA, here. The School of the Year award starts from around 30 minutes in.

Queen Anne's was placed in the top three schools for tennis nationwide, out of 2,100 nominations for this category. This is a huge achievement, and a testament to the hard work of our amazing PE staff, tennis coaches, and young tennis players.

The school will be awarded a trophy, Wimbledon tickets for next year and a big banner to celebrate the achievement!
