On Saturday 10 October the sports facilities were in full use across every year group which was fantastic to see!
The day began with Senior Netball and an U4 intro to rowing, where the U4s enjoyed learning about rowing technique and also doing a swim assessment in the swimming pool. Unfortunately the river was too high to row on, but it was great for the girls to pick up the technique on dry land!
The netballers played competitive games in their academic bubbles which proved to be very worthwhile where talent was spotted and good spirited competition was played.
The L4s and 4s came in later to tie in all their athletics lessons where they threw the shot, javelin and discus in order to get distances measured. Having missed out on the summer term, it was impressive to see how quickly the girls had picked up these new events and were getting some great personal scores!
