Head of Sustainability for Ikea, joins Queen Anne's School live from USA

Today we had Jenn Keesson, Head of Sustainability for Ikea, join us from the USA via Teams. She spoke to students from U5-U6 about what Ikea are doing to be a world leader in sustainability. Jenn explained to the students how "everything Ikea does is embedded in sustainability"  and how they focus on "positive social impact to bring about change." The talk was hugely interesting and informative and Ella S (U6) got to speak to Jenn about IKEA's plans for Agenda 2030 and sustainable development. Ikea also believe that change cannot happen alone and they work in collaboration with a range of other companies- which is a good analogy for how the students here are never working in isolation and their successes come when they work together. – Ben Stephenson, Director of Sixth Form
