Zara's Sporting Achievements

Upper 6 student Zara holds the school's record for discus throw and always leaves spectators amazed! She has had a very busy 2021 season and as a first year U20 she has achieved many things. Having qualified for the European U20 championships she earned her first GB international vest and competed in the beautiful Tallinn. Though she did not make it past qualification, she found the experience to be largely positive and has learnt a lot. She also captained the England U18 throws team at the England Throws Camp International where the England team won over the home nations. She also won a series of bronze and silver medals at the England U20 championships earlier in the year and the Manchester International, where she represented junior GB as well.
