A “Dramatic” Night for the Boarders!

Drama L4

There were dramatic goings-on for the junior boarders yesterday evening as they took part in a series of drama activities organised by Mr Punter.

The event started at 7pm and the girls spent an hour indulging in all manner of madness, mayhem and merriment. The girls absorbed themselves with energy, enthusiasm and teamwork as they devised three drama scenes to perform to each other. Although the title of the piece was “The Friendly Scarecrow”, many of the groups managed to turn their work into a production worthy of the Hammer House of Horror films! (Apologies to Mr and Mrs Blunt if they gave each other nightmares!) A fabulous, fun and drama-tastic time was had by all.

The next event in dramaramaland’s diary is the all-singin’, all-dancin’ production of “Bugsy Malone” on June 27th – 29th at 7.30pm in the PAC (open to QAS parents). The cast and crew have been rehearsing extremely hard on the show with great commitment, energy and fun (especially with the infamous “splurge guns”. Warning: if you sit near the front, bring a towel….). You do not need tickets for this event.
