Queen Anne’s School was delighted to host the Fitkin: Eight Hands Concert, as part of Arts Week 2022. The school welcomed world-class musicians, Graham Fitkin, Ruth Wall, Clare Hammond and Kathy Stott for a concert celebrating music built from minimal materials, focusing on Fitkin’s piano compositions of the 1990s and keyboard compositions by Reich, Adams, Unsuk Chin, Feldman and Meredith. The audience watched as the four musicians played a repertoire of great virtuosity on just two pianos.
