On Tuesday, the Food Representatives from all the Houses met for the Food Committee. They had urgent things to discuss for example, could there be more salads and what has happened to all the dressings we used to have?

Interestingly some of our girls love Caesar Salad and others are not so enthusiastic it would seem. All the Representatives were able to agree that Curly Fries and Waffles are popular as are and hot puddings in general although the addition of cardamon to the Chocolate pudding was not appreciated. Some students wanted more meat whilst others requested a wider choice of Vegetarian, vegan, and Gluten Free options and in particular grilled Halloumi.

The School Salad Bar

“Most of food is really amazing and we really love it” was the response in general and it is appreciated that Thomas Franks is now serving in four areas around the school during staggered lunches due to abiding by recommended pandemic practices, hence no dressings at the salad bars until restrictions are lifted.
