Inter-House Competition

Queen Anne’s annual Inter-House Dance, Gym and Trampolining Competition took place on Friday 17 May, and our girls were out in full force supporting their houses.

The sports hall was filled with high flying acrobatics, splits, springs and tumbles as our five junior houses competed fiercely for the title of champions.

Each of the five houses showcased creative, skilful and entertaining routines, but there could only be one winner in each category…

Amelia S (U4), representing Ffyler House, demonstrated exceptional trampolining ability, with an array of flips, twists and turns, taking the title of ‘trampoline champion’.

The winner of the solo gym category was Catrin P (U4), representing Webbe House. Her routine proved to be a fantastic demonstration of some exceptionally high level gym.

The group gym winners were Ffyler House. Their team, made up of Lara R, Beau B and Katie L (4), had fantastic timing, and showcased a wide array of skills and great house spirit!

On to dance, the winners of the solo/duo category were Hannah K (L6) and Phoebe K (U6). Their dance performance was exceptionally well-choreographed, resulting in another win for Ffyler House.

The winners of the group dance category were Team Maddock, made up of Serena C (L5), Shali B (L6), Cris R (L6), Rowena L (L5), Daisy S (L5), Orianne D (4), Ana A (4), Temi A (L4) and Anisha M (L4). Their performance showed a huge mix of both ages and dance styles, the dance really told a story throughout.

Congratulations to our winners, and well done to all who took part in our Inter-House Dance, Gym and Trampolining competition!
