Sports Whole School

It has been brilliant to have the girls back competing against other schools in a range of sports. A number of tennis fixtures have taken place over the past few weeks, matches for various U13 and U15 teams included, a friendly against Cranford House, Aegon matches at home against Bohunt and an away match against St. Mary's Ascot. Our seniors and Inters played for fun against Oratory Boys and their mixed teams; the matches were enjoyed by all! We had six pairs entered into is ISGTL Tournament, which saw our girls play against some fantastic players from other independent schools, the matches really tested the girls tactics and play under pressure.

With the May weather being slightly unpredictable, L4, 4, U4 and L5 cricket was forced inside, but the girls were still able to perfect their bowling and batting. The rain did manage to hold off for the L4 and 4's tennis and athletics fixtures against Godstowe last weekend. For some it was the first opportunity they have had to compete. Field events were our strongest with wins in the U13 long jump, high jump, discus and javelin - Amazing efforts!
