QAS girls hit the Austrian slopes!

As the Lent term drew to a close, some of our QAS girls headed to Austria for a week of skiing and snowboarding!

The students' ski levels ranged from beginner to experienced. By the end of the week many of the girls made excellent progress, perfecting their parallel turns and gaining confidence, with one student going from a complete beginner to winning the intermediate race. 

The staff and students enjoyed some brilliant snow, along with a few glimpses of the sun, making for excellent skiing and snowboarding conditions.

The evenings were filled with lots of fun and games including a staff v Lower 6 competition.
