A day of climbing through the trees and team building activities was enjoyed by the 4s (year 8) before they broke up for half term.
Starting the day with Go Ape's 'Treetop Adventure', the year group made their way through three courses which increased in height and difficulty. Each course ended with a fast zip-wire; it proved to be a challenge to land on your feet!
After mastering the dizzying heights of the high ropes, the 4s were firmly back on the ground and split into teams. They took part in a series of team building activities that tested their inter-year communication and teamwork.
One of the games was a type of hole-in-the-wall, like a spider web. We had to fit people through the holes, without touching the ropes. We couldn’t repeat any holes, so some people had to be lifted by their peers. It was very fun!
After all their exciting activities, it was time for lunch and a long walk through the picturesque Swinley Forest.
